The Open raised $20,000 towards the Conestoga Excellence Fund.
Thirty four teams headed out together for a round of golf, at the scenic Rebel Creek Golf Club. The weather was perfect, the course is spectacular and everyone agreed it was a 'class' event.
Participants were treated to a fantastic day of golf, free samplers throughout, plenty of contests, good food and great prizes. Pictures of foursomes taken by CSI Shooters Photo Studio were presented to all participants commemorating the day's event.
The format for the tournament was a four-person scramble, and the following teams finished first:

The hole-in-one prizes of the day went unclaimed: The $10,000 hole-in-one on the par-3 3rd hole sponsored by 105.3 KOOL FM/KFUN 99.5 & Donovan Insurance Brokers, and the 7 Day All inclusive vacation for two sponsored by by SellOffVacations.com on the par-3 8th hole.
Participants were overwhelmed with the quality of the tournament from the sponsorships, donated prizes, samplers at the specialty holes, quality of the Rebel Creek Golf Course, the food and of course, the weather.
Dinner and fun in the clubhouse! Thanks to our emcee Jeff Hutcheson for keeping us entertained! His energy, experience and ability to read the crowd had everyone laughing. Having Jeff emcee brought an air of professionalism, energy and fun – we hope he will plan to join us again in 2010.
Brett Tucker’s special ability to keep the energy and excitement going while awarding over 50 prizes kept everyone on their toes with anticipation.
