Graduating students in Conestoga’s Bachelor of Design (BDes) program celebrated their achievements and presented their work at Revolution, the 2026 BDes Graduate Showcase, held August 28 at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery (KWAG).

More than 200 guests attended the showcase, including Conestoga faculty and community members, alumni, representatives from the Registered Graphic Designers of Canada (RGD), industry professionals, family and friends.
The annual graduate showcase celebrates the culmination of students’ work throughout the four-year program and provides an opportunity for graduating students to share their portfolios with the broader community and design industry.
This year’s showcase featured a range of digital and print design, creative problem-solving, product design and more, demonstrating the creativity, skills and versatility of the graduating class.
The showcase also provided an opportunity for students earlier in the program to contribute their skills. As part of a Bachelor of Design tradition, fourth-year students develop the title and creative direction for the graduate show before second-year students work in teams to develop and pitch visual concepts for the event.
The visual direction for Revolution was created by Aidan Jones and Kevin Nguyen, now third-year Bachelor of Design students. Their concept was selected by the graduating class and developed into the event’s visual identity, including wayfinding, motion graphics, signage and other campaign materials.
“This showcase celebrates how much our students have grown throughout the program,” said Jessica Massard, professor in Conestoga’s Bachelor of Design program. “Their work reflects their creativity, skills and ability to solve problems with purpose. We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished.”
Throughout their studies, Bachelor of Design students have opportunities to apply their skills through experiences with live clients, co-op employers and industry partners, helping prepare them for careers in the design industry.
Conestoga’s Bachelor of Design is a four-year degree in visual design complemented by courses in entrepreneurship, marketing and management. The program blends visual design, entrepreneurship and liberal studies with co-op opportunities, studio space and access to advanced technology.
The program is part of Conestoga’s School of Creative Industries.
