Flags at all Conestoga campuses are at half-mast in recognition of the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism on June 23.
This national observance was proclaimed in 2005 to recognize those who have lost their lives through acts of terror in Canada and around the world. The day was chosen to coincide with the anniversary of the Air India Flight 182 tragedy, which occurred on June 23, 1985.
