More than 4,000 new graduates will be recognized at Conestoga’s winter convocation ceremonies, beginning February 27 to March 3. The event, held at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener, is a culmination of hard work, passion and commitment in celebration of academic success.
“Conestoga graduates are known for their talent, drive and entrepreneurial spirit. They are innovative thinkers with the training to make a difference,” said Conestoga President John Tibbits. “It is an honour to recognize the accomplishments of our newest graduates, who will use their knowledge and skills to make meaningful contributions to their workplaces and build stronger, more prosperous communities.”
The week-long celebration will also welcome class of 2022 graduates who attended virtual convocation celebrations last summer as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Class of 2020 and 2021 graduates who attended virtual celebrations had the opportunity to cross the stage at in-person convocation ceremonies last fall.
All ceremonies will be live streamed and recordings will be made available through the college’s website.
Fall 2022 live-streamed convocation ceremonies saw more than 10,000 viewers from around the world tuning in to see family and friends cross the stage.
