Conestoga will join with national, local and media sponsors to host the 2014 Kitchener/Waterloo CIBC Run for the Cure at the Doon campus in Kitchener on Sunday, October 5.
Last year, an estimated 24,000 Canadians were diagnosed with breast cancer. The CIBC Run for the Cure is the largest annual event of its kind in Canada, raising funds to support a future without breast cancer. In 2013, the event raised more than $14 million across Canada.
Conestoga is proud to join with the friends, family, patients and survivors who have been affected by breast cancer as we work toward the day when we can host events in celebration of having conquered this disease.
Registration begins at 8:00 AM at Conestoga’s Doon Campus (299 Doon Valley Drive, Kitchener). The 5 km walk or run begins at 10:00 AM and the 1 km walk or run begins at 10:20 AM.
