A number of proposals have been submitted by the School of Career and Academic Access proposing new programs that would provide clients with increased access to skill upgrading and employment. These proposed projects address various important gaps and issues in our community's labour market that have been identified by front-line staff at CAA and through examination of labour market research.
Proposed programming focuses on a wide variety of topics such as addressing job readiness in Internationally Trained Immigrants through language and work skills enhancement, increasing opportunities for employment in green sectors through sector specific training, and providing access to on-demand, on-the-job Essential Skills upgrading.
Workforce Development is always on the look-out for new project ideas and partnerships.
