More than 7,500 new graduates will be recognized at Conestoga’s winter convocation ceremonies from February 26 to March 1.
The event, held at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener, is a culmination of hard work, passion and commitment in celebration of academic achievements. It is a special time for the college community to reflect on the dedication and accomplishments of its students, as well as look forward to the contributions the newest Conestoga graduates are poised to make in their communities and beyond as they enter into an esteemed community of alumni who are using their education and talents to make a difference.
As part of the celebration, the Conestoga community will also recognize outstanding contributions and leadership in the teaching-learning process. The Aubrey Hagar Distinguished Teaching Award will be presented to faculty member Gino De Pinto, program coordinator of the Respiratory Therapy program in the School of Health & Life Sciences.
All ceremonies will be live streamed and recordings will be made available through the college’s website.
