Starting Monday, July 26, Conestoga’s Student Health & Wellness Services will have the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine available for students 18 years of age and older, as well as college employees.
Vaccination appointments will be scheduled at the Kitchener - Doon campus in the Medical Care Clinic, room 1A102.
Limited appointments are available Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and can be booked up to seven days in advance: use the booking link to schedule an appointment. If no appointments are available, check back daily as new appointments will be added.
Students and employees are required to bring their OHIP card to the appointment, or government-issued photo identification such as a driver's licence or passport if not a resident of Ontario.
Conestoga community members who have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine are invited to schedule an appointment with a medical provider at the college. Email medicalcare@conestogac.on.ca or call 519-748-5220, ext. 3679 to book an appointment.
International students
International students who received their first COVID-19 vaccination outside of Canada must complete the Out-of-province COVID Immunization Form at least five business days before their second dose appointment. The college clinic cannot accept a second vaccination appointment if information related to the first vaccination is not in the provincial CoVAXon system.
Alternate location for evening and weekend vaccination appointments
Vaccination appointments are also available Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 123 Pioneer Drive in Kitchener. Schedule appointments at this location through the pharmacy's booking form. For more information about this option, contact the pharmacy directly at asdm1200@shoppersdrugmart.ca or call 519-748-4525.
