Flags at all Conestoga campuses have been lowered to half-mast to honour the lives of the 215 children found at the grounds of the former residential school in Kamloops, British Columbia.
The children’s remains were located last weekend at the site in the province’s Interior. As communities across Canada mourn this unspeakable loss, efforts are underway to identify and return home the remains of the victims, some thought to be as young as three years old.
