Conestoga alumna of distinction Jennifer Green has been named among Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2020 by the Women's Executive Network (WXN).

Launched in 2003, WXN is a national organization that aims to propel and celebrate women's advancement at all levels, in all sectors and of all ages. Top 100 winners span the private, public and non-profit sectors, representing outstanding women across the country who advocate for workforce diversity and inspire tomorrow's leaders. Green was recognized for her contribution and excellence in skilled trades and community involvement.
Green graduated in 2008 as a licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright with a Certificate of Apprenticeship and Certificate of Qualification. Presented with Conestoga's Alumni of Distinction award in 2013 for her contribution to industry, Green is director of competitions and young women's initiatives at Skills Ontario -- an organization that encourages youth to pursue careers in skilled trades and technologies. She is also an apprenticeship youth advisor for the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.
A trailblazer and tireless advocate for women in non-traditional careers, Green has achieved many honours as a mentor and leader.
