The Region of Waterloo is encouraging all public transit users to prepare for a disruption in services as the result of a transit strike expected to begin as of 5:00 a.m. on January 21. In the event of a strike, no buses will be running in the region. ION train service will continue to operate.
Classes and activities at Conestoga will continue as scheduled in the event of a transit strike: students and employees who rely on public transit are advised to make alternative plans for travel.

Students who will be late or absent as the result of transportation challenges should communicate with instructors, stay connected with peers and keep up with coursework through eConestoga.
The college is exploring additional parking options on affected campuses and will provide traffic guidance as required to avoid congestion from increased vehicle traffic. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
