Thanks to new exchange agreements with three leading European universities, students enrolled in Conestoga’s Business degree programs will have additional opportunities to study abroad and gain international experience as part of their studies.
The latest universities to join the exchange program are: Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen (the Netherlands), Budapest College of Management in Budapest, Hungary and Groupe ESC Troyes en Champagne in Troyes, France.
These institutions join the three universities announced in March 2012:
- University of Finance and Administration in Prague, the Czech Republic.
- Duoc UC in Santiago, Chile.
- International Business School in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Students who participate in an exchange program will take courses that are taught in English at one of the partner institutions for either one term or an entire academic year while earning credits towards the completion of their degree. Conestoga students who participate will not be required to pay additional tuition fees. Host schools will assist participants in finding suitable accommodation and settling in to their new environment
“Our students are very interested in the tremendous benefits of an international learning experience. We are excited about these opportunities and will be working to create even more exchange opportunities with universities in other countries,” said Barbara Fennessy, program chair. “Our first group of exchange students will study in Prague in winter 2013.”
