Hockey legend, motivational expert and leadership educator - that's Paul Henderson.
In 1972, he scored what is perhaps the most famous goal in Canadian hockey history. Now he helps others learn and practice what it takes to win in life: belief in self, setting goals, motivating oneself and others, and achieving success in life and work.
Paul Henderson will be at the Doon campus of Conestoga College on Saturday, November 1 as keynote speaker at the College's annual one-day conference for associate faculty. A member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and an 18-year professional hockey veteran, Henderson is the founder and a principal of The Leadership Group, which is dedicated to the development of business leaders through belief, character and action.
Even though the day features activities and workshops geared to Conestoga College associate faculty, the morning session with Paul Henderson is open for the public to attend. A limited number of registration spaces are available, and the registration fee is $20, which includes the entire morning schedule, a light breakfast, coffee break and lunch.
The conference opens at 8:30 a.m., with introductory remarks at 8:45. Paul Henderson speaks from 9:15-10:15, followed by 30 minutes for questions from the audience.
