March is National Engineering Month (NEM) - a celebration of engineering, innovation and problem-solving.
During this challenge, participants will build a contraption to protect an egg from breaking when dropped from a height using only eco-friendly materials like cardboard or paper scraps. This activity shows how creative designs can help protect the environment by using less waste.
Whether you're passionate about engineering or just eager to learn more, NEM events provide the chance to engage in hands-on activities, compete in challenges and connect with other students.
Conestoga Engineering Society and Student Outreach Ambassadors will host additional events for students on the following days:
- March 17: Lego engineering competition
- March 24: Bottle rocket competition
- March 31: Engineering jeopardy
Location:
Cafeteria, Cambridge - Fountain Street campus, 850 Fountain Street South, Cambridge
