March is National Engineering Month (NEM) - a celebration of engineering, innovation and problem-solving.
Participants will build rockets out of recycled plastic bottles and launch them using water and air pressure. This activity teaches how to design and test technology while reusing materials and learning about energy.
Whether you're passionate about engineering or just eager to learn more, NEM events provide the chance to engage in hands-on activities, compete in challenges and connect with other students.
Conestoga Engineering Society and Student Outreach Ambassadors will host additional events for students on the following days:
- March 10: Egg drop design challenge
- March 17: Lego engineering competition
- March 31: Engineering jeopardy
Location:
Cafeteria, Cambridge - Fountain Street campus, 850 Fountain Street South, Cambridge
