Employers and students honoured at awards ceremony

The Conestoga community honoured outstanding employer partners, mentors, clients, alumni and co-op students during the 2023 Employer Recognition Awards, held through a virtual celebration on March 24.

Co-hosted by Corporate Training; Alumni Engagement; the Conestoga Career Centre; and Co-operative Education, Career and Work-Integrated Learning, the virtual event provided an opportunity during National Co-op and Work-Integrated Learning month to acknowledge the invaluable experiences our employers create for the Conestoga community.

“Our annual Employer Recognition awards is always a highlight of the year as we acknowledge some of the many businesses and community partners who support Conestoga students, graduates and clients,” said Paul Osborne, associate vice president, Marketing and Community Relations. “Employers and partners across the communities we serve have shown their commitment to Conestoga by employing our graduates, our co-op students, accessing Continuing Education and corporate training, participating in Program Advisory Committees and accessing employment services through our Conestoga Career Centre. This ceremony is an opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable experience our employers create for Conestoga students and clients as well as the excellent work demonstrated by our students.”
