Career and Academic Access is proud to offer the Enhanced Language Training (ELT) program for foreign trained engineers. This program will provide foreign trained engineers with language training specific to their occupations, a course that will allow them to brush up on technical skills, and a two-month long work placement. One important change to the ELT program is the increase in the length of the work placement, moving from one week to two months! This will result in important improved outcomes for program participants and for employers. The proposal for this program was developed through collaboration among Workforce Development, the Conestoga Language Institute and the whole CAA team.
