Broadcasting Program Recognizes Outstanding Students

The Broadcasting - Radio and Television program of Conestoga College has named its award-winning students for the 2002-2003 academic year. Sixteen students share a total of $5,300 in awards.

Broadcasting - Radio and Television is a three-year, diploma-level program at the Doon campus in Kitchener. The first two years feature instruction in both radio and television; in the third year, students choose to specialize in one field or the other. All aspects of the media are included: news and entertainment, programming, writing and editing, mobile production, broadcast regulations, sales, management and technical skills. Students gain practical experience through work in the College's television studio and 88.3 CJIQ-FM, the College radio station.
