Pharmacy technicians play a vital role on the health care team, supporting phramacists and working directly with patients in settings such as hospitals, community pharmacies and long-term care facilities.
Conestoga's two-year Pharmacy Technician Ontario College Diploma program prepares students with strong foundations in science, pharmacology, calculations, compounding and sterile preparations through hands-on labs and work-integrated learning.
Graduates are eligible to pursue registration as a pharmacy technician in Ontario and to complete national and provincial licensing requirements. This program holds Provisional Accreditation from the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs.
