Across Canada and around the world, people gather on November 11 to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions.
Brave Canadians have left behind families, homes and dreams to defend the values and freedoms we cherish today. Their selflessness allows us — and future generations — to live in peace.
On this day, we pause to remember those who gave their lives to protect our future.
The college will host a virtual service in observance of Remembrance Day beginning at 10:50 a.m.
Service agenda:
- Opening remarks
- Reading: History of the poppies
- Reading: In Flanders Fields

- 11:00 a.m.: Moment of silence
