Caudle's Catch
In the early 1980’s Ron Caudle left his hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia and headed west to Kitchener-Waterloo to begin a career in retail management. At the time, he had no way of knowing how much his Maritime roots would affect his life’s work.
Today, Caudle's Catch has expanded their retail operations to meet the demand of a growing and loyal customer base. Through their 3,000 square foot seafood superstore, and locations inside Vincenzo's in Waterloo, the Cambridge Market as well as the St. Jacobs and Kitchener Markets, Caudle's Catch Seafood can deliver a broader range of products directly to their customers, at the best price.
As a wholesaler, Caudle's Catch Seafood distributes over 20,000 pounds of fresh and frozen seafood to stores and restaurants across Canada each week.
Bloom Executive Chef, Dan McCowan, when asked about the inspration for the menu said: "When the opportunity came up to collaborate with Caudle's Catch on a dinner at Bloom, I was excited to jump at the opportunity to showcase a few of my personal favourite Canadian seafood offerings. With Canada being the home of more than half the world's lakes and bordering two oceans, there's certainly no shortage of world-class seafood to choose from. I look forward to showcasing the menu that the team at Caudle's and I came up with!"
