Join Be-Dah-Bin Gamik, Indigenous Services at Conestoga, and the Conestoga Condors in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day with Haudenosaunee lacrosse.
The Creator's Game will be facilitated by Kevin Sandy. The day will include some history and teachings about Indigenous and Haudenosaunee games in the morning (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.), followed by lunch and a friendship game in the afternoon (1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.).
Employees and students are welcome to participate or watch and learn, stopping into the event as able. No registration is required.
Participants should dress in activewear appropriate for the weather. This event will be running rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Student Recreation Centre.
