In an increasingly diverse and interconnected world, engaging and interactive workshops play a critical role in spreading knowledge, skills and awareness.
Students and employees are inivted to dive into the fascinating world of tactile communication by experiencing Braille first-hand. At this workshop, hosted by the Sensory Loss Intervention program, attendees will create a tactile name tag and try out some innovative technologies, alternative communication methods and adaptive equipment all geared towards independence.
Participants will discover ways to create opportunities for deafblind individuals to thrive in educational settings and beyond.
