2024 Sustainability Speaker series: Green Skills - Preparing Canadian graduates for a more sustainable future

Students and employees are invited to this special speaking event offered as part of the 2024 Sustainability Speaker series on green skills.

Jeremy Strachan, PhD, is a Senior Research Associate in Education & Skills at the Conference Board of Canada. As Interim Senior Manager of Future Skills Research, he oversees a portfolio of mixed-methods projects that focus on skills, training, and workforce development in Canada. His team publishes and presents on issues related to inclusion, sustainability, social and emotional learning, and AI in postsecondary education. 

In this session, he will discuss key findings from the recently published “Green Skills” report. Learn about the actions that post-secondary institutions (PSIs) are taking to equip students with green skills and the recommendations for PSIs wishing to contribute to Canada’s green transition.

This event is eligible for Co-Curricular Record (CCR) recognition.
