Conestoga is now accepting applications for the full-time, tuition-free Women in Skilled Trades (WIST) General Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship Accelerated program beginning January 2025.
Attending an information session is the first step in the application process. Participants will receive details about general carpentry, the WIST accelerated program, and next steps.
Eligible candidates must
- identify as a woman or non-binary person
- be 16 years of age or over, with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or General Education Development (GED) equivalent
- be a resident of, and able to work in Ontario
- be proficient in English.
