This information session tackles various immigration-related concepts relevant to the rights and responsibilities of international students.
Using a sample case study on misrepresentation and inadmissibility to Canada, we will examine a variety of “what to do and what not to do” scenarios such as the following:
- Conditions students must comply with on their study permit
- What may happen if students engage in unauthorized study or work
- How students can maintain their status to be eligible to apply for a study permit extension or Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
- What is misrepresentation and what does inadmissible to Canada mean and more.
