Conestoga has partnered with AutoCate and InspireTech Canada to offer free automotive workshops for under-represented groups, specifically girls and women.
Girls in Grades 6 to 12 and their influencers (parents, family friends, aunts, uncles grandparents, etc.) are invited to the Guelph campus for breakfast, followed by a workshop, which includes an introduction to the AutoCate team and hands-on activities to learn how to check vehicle fluids, jacking a vehicle, change tires and boosting a battery.
No experience necessary. Please note that all participants must sign a risk and liability waiver before participating.
