Conestoga has partnered with AutoCate and InspireTech Canada to offer free automotive workshops for under-represented groups, specifically girls and women.
Female Conestoga students, employees and alumni are invited to the Conestoga Skilled Trades Campus for an AutoCate workshop, which includes an introduction to the AutoCate team and hands-on activities to learn how to check vehicle fluids, jacking a vehicle, change tires and boosting a battery.
A light dinner with refreshments will be provided.
No experience necessary. All participants will be required to fill out a risk and liability waiver.
