Conestoga's School of Applied Computer Science & Information Technology, in partnership with the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE), will host Go CODE Girl for girls and non-binary youth in Grades 7 to 10 to explore the worlds of coding, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and esports.
The free interactive event will include hands-on workshops led by young women in the School of Applied Computer Science & Information Technology, virtual and augmented reality experiences hosted by the Conestoga VAR Lab, gaming in the college's state-of-the-art esports hub, and a career readiness panel.
