The School of Trades & Apprenticeship will host a series of virtual Talk2WomenInTrades sessions.
Sessions feature women apprentices and current students who will share their stories and experiences of working within the skilled trades. Conversations will centre around their unique stories including how they decided to get into skilled trades and the pathway they followed to get there, an overview of the specific trade and job opportunities they have held while completing their apprenticeship.
Guest speakers will answer questions and provide information for women attendees that are interested in exploring a career in skilled trades.This session will feature guest speaker Ashley Stirbys-Boshcoff - Millwright Apprentice at Conestoga College.
