This free virtual workshop is intended for high school students considering a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Current engineering undergraduate students from Conestoga College will discuss what engineering is and what differentiates engineering from other STEM programs. The daily life of engineering students throughout both their study and work terms will be showcased, with examples of applications of theory to real-world scenarios.
Co-hosted by Conestoga and the Grand River Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) chapter, this event is part of National Engineering Month (NEM) activities. Throughout March 2021, over 70 virtual events will be held across Ontario. Visit NEM Ontario for a full calendar of events.
