Attend this information session to learn more about the Pre-Apprenticeship Industrial Mechanic Millwright/ Electrician and Pre-Apprenticeship Cabinetmaker/ General Carpenter programs being offered in 2019.
Conestoga College is accepting applications for two new tuition-free Pre-Apprenticeship Training Programs which will give participants insight and experience in a skilled trades career and a head-start on achieving apprenticeship certification.
Pre-Apprenticeship Industrial Mechanic Millwright/ Electrician
Starting in May 2019, the Pre-Apprenticeship Industrial Mechanic Millwright/ Electrician program will be offered at Conestoga's Cambridge campus and runs full-time during the day for 16 weeks. The program also features an additional eight-week practical work placement experience.
Level 1 apprenticeship in-class training for Industrial Mechanic Millwright is also included.
Pre-Apprenticeship Cabinetmaker/ General Carpenter
Starting in May 2019, the Pre-Apprenticeship Cabinetmaker/ General Carpenter program will be offered at Conestoga's Doon campus and runs full-time during the day for 23 weeks. The program also features an additional eight-week practical work placement experience.
Level 1 apprenticeship in-class training for Cabinetmaker is also included.
All candidates interested in either program are required to attend an information session; all sessions will include details on both programs.
Additional pre-apprenticeship information session dates include March 14 and March 21 at the Cambridge campus, as well as March 19, March 28 and April 4 at the Doon campus.
Please note that only 20 enrollment spaces are available in each program.
