Would you like to learn how to write high performance computing applications that run on multiple processes? Would you like an opportunity to learn and share knowledge and experiences in high performance and technical computing on platforms with the latest technologies?
The 2016 SHARCNET Winter Workshop on High Performance Computing is a full two-day workshop that offers introductory courses on the Unix shell, high performance computing, programming shared memory systems with OpenMP, and programming clusters with MPI.
This workshop is open to faculty, students, and interested members of the public. Please note: attendees are expected to bring their own laptop computer with an SSH client installed.
Free Tim Hortons coffee and Timbits will be available. A draw will be held at the end of the second day to win a desktop supercomputer.
