Thursday April 6, 11:30am - 1:30pm
Student Life Centre, Doon
What does a healthy relationship look like to you? Join with the Respect Campaign and Security Services to decorate a t-shirt recognizing the importance of respect in our relationships. Donations will go towards a local organization supporting women, children, and trans* individuals.
During the event, the t-shirts will be hung in the Student Life Centre so we can all bear witness to ending violence against women, children and trans* individuals. Students can pick up their t-shirts at the end of the day or donate them to be given to a local shelter.
Faculty, staff and students at Guelph, Waterloo, and Cambridge campuses are encouraged to decorate a t-shirt in advance of the event to be hung with the others at Doon. Materials will be supplied at Security Service areas starting on March 27. If you would like your t-shirt to be hung, drop it off at Security before April 4 for delivery to Doon campus.
Since 1990, college and university campuses around the world have organized Clothesline Projects to celebrate healthy relationships & raise awareness for violence against women. Let's break the silence; end the violence together!
