Earth Day encourages us to make a difference

When we consider that each person throws away approximately four pounds of garbage every day and over 14 billion pounds of trash is thrown into the ocean every year, it’s no wonder our Earth is beginning to look abused.

The Tri-City Roller Girls certainly know how to hit hard including Conestoga’s own Greta Garbage. On April 10, The Vicious Dishes clobbered The Venus Fly Tramps by a score of 157 to 53 in the season opener of the local roller derby league.
