The Conestoga College flag has been lowered to half-mast in honour of faculty member Rob Sloan, who passed away on January 29 after a year-long battle with cancer. Rob joined Conestoga's School of Business in 2004 after a career in Marketing at Connaught Laboratories. He remained excited by new ways of teaching and enjoyed watching his students prosper right up to his retirement in December.
Rob's family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. on February 1 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home in Kitchener. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on February 1 at 1 p.m. Guests are required to RSVP.
