Applied research centre launches webinar series

Conestoga’s Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance (CISWP) has launched a webinar series to provide an opportunity for stakeholders across Canada and around the world to learn about cutting-edge applied research conducted by CISWP scientists, partnering organizations and research collaborators.

“Knowledge transfer and exchange is vital for applying research knowledge into practice and decision-making,” said CISWP director Dr. Amin Yazdani. “With immense resources invested into research, the knowledge generated should be readily accessible, available and applicable to knowledge users to use in practice, planning and policy-making.”

These complimentary webinars are available to audiences from all sectors and will be hosted remotely through the Zoom webinar platform.

The preliminary program is now available and will be updated regularly with additional information and events.

The Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance, located within Conestoga’s School of Business, works to improve the safety, wellness and performance of the Canadian labour force by generating knowledge, transferring research to practice, and strengthening workforce development — all in collaboration with stakeholders.
