Fees Update

The Spring 2020 semester at Conestoga will provide a unique student experience given the continued need to deliver programs and services remotely. Students will continue to have access to a wide range of services, including career services, academic supports, health and wellness initiatives and technology support. Ancillary fees for amenities and services directly related to the on-campus experience will not be applied for the Spring 2020 semester. These changes will be reflected in the Spring 2020 billing in the next few weeks.

Conestoga also recognizes that some fees charged during the Winter 2020 semester included optional services that students were unable to utilize after campuses were closed in mid-March.

Co-op and classroom supply fees are currently under review: additional information will be provided to students in the next few weeks. Students impacted by the recent changes will receive refunds or future fee reductions as applicable.

Residence fees are being refunded directly to students, as applicable, based on previous communications with students in our residence program.

Students will also receive a credit to their accounts as applicable for a portion of Winter 2020 fees paid to cover a number of college services:

  • Recreation Centre Fee
  • Parking Passes
  • CSI Event Fee
  • Alumni Services Fee
  • Locker Fee

Credits will be applied to student accounts on a prorated basis as applicable: please allow 6-8 weeks for processing. Students who are not returning to Conestoga after the Winter 2020 semester, and who have made all required payments, will be eligible for a refund to be processed by cheque. Further details will be provided as they become available.
