Highlights include enrolment growth of more than 27 per cent over the previous year, increased internationalization, development of new and enhanced facilities, program growth and the expansion of applied research activities.

Conestoga now serves more than 55,000 adult learners each year through full and part-time studies, apprenticeship and corporate training. The full-time employee complement surpassed 1,200 in 2018-19, positioning the college among the region’s major employers.

More than 30 new programs were approved in 2018-19 as the college continues to realign programming to address the needs of an evolving economy.

More than 3,600 students and 267 faculty were engaged in applied research through capstone, curriculum-based and independent research projects. The college continues to be ranked among the top 25 in Canada for research.
