Conestoga president calls for government to revitalize college education

In an op-ed published in the Waterloo Region Record on June 1, Conestoga President John Tibbits called for the next Ontario government to work with the province’s 24 colleges to strengthen Ontario’s prosperity and help more individuals attain successful and rewarding careers.

Tibbits calls for changes to the current system to provide colleges with more autonomy and the flexibility to deliver more cutting-edge programs, including degrees, to meet the needs of the changing workforce.
