Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for Waterloo-Wellington in anticipation of a significant ice storm expected to move into the region in the morning hours of Saturday, April 14. Ice accumulations and strong winds are expected to result in dangerous travelling conditions.
As a result, Conestoga campuses in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph will be CLOSED on Saturday, April 14. All classes, services and activities have been suspended for today. The Recreation Centre is closed.
The Laurier Brantford campus is closed for the day as well.
We will continue to monitor weather forecasts and changing conditions as the storm moves through our region. Further updates will be posted to the Conestoga website as they become available: www.conestogac.on.ca
