Conestoga’s Information Technology Training for Women (ITTW) Business Analysis program has been awarded a fourth intake that will start April 3, 2017 at the Doon campus.
Funded through the Province of Ontario, the program is free for participants and designed to support low-income women who are unemployed or underemployed as they prepare for successful careers in information technology that include:
- Business Analyst
- Business Systems Analyst - Developer
- Information Analyst
- Data Analyst/Miner/Warehousing
- Computer Systems Analyst
- Informatics Consultant/Systems Business Analyst
- Information Systems Quality Assurance Analyst
Prospective students require a diploma or degree and will be interviewed during the application process. Previous students have come to the program from diverse backgrounds that include nursing, engineering and business.
The program includes 40 weeks of in-class training that runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A 10-week work placement follows.
Program information sessions are scheduled throughout February and March for individuals interested in participating.
