Conestoga honours outstanding students and employers

Close to 100 members of the Conestoga community, partners and friends gathered in the Blue Room at the Doon campus on Tuesday, March 17 for a special awards breakfast to honour the 2015 Employers of Distinction and recognize this year’s top co-op students.

The event, held in conjunction with National Co-op Week, was co-hosted by Conestoga’s School of Career & Academic Access and Co-op & Career Services.

Employers of Distinction are recognized for their outstanding support of Conestoga students and programs.

  • Co-op education integrates academic studies with paid program-related experience in the workplace and is part of Conestoga’s commitment to experiential, career-focused learning. More than 50 co-op programs serve 3,200 students in degree, diploma and certificate programs from a broad range of disciplines.
