Conestoga recognizes outstanding local employers

Sixteen area employers were recognized at Conestoga’s 2014 Employer of Distinction awards presentation held on Thursday, March 27 at the college’s Doon campus.

The annual awards ceremony is hosted by Conestoga’s School of Career and Academic Access, and celebrates top employers who have provided high levels of support to the school and its clients.

“We are very proud to recognize these outstanding employers and partners, who extend a range of support to individuals across our community, from providing placement opportunities and sharing labour market information to granting information meetings and assistance to those transitioning back to the workplace,” said Sherri Tryon, manager of Workforce Access Programs and the Conestoga Career Centre.
