The Conestoga Condors women's volleyball team completed their best season ever, earning a berth in the OCAA provincial finals.
At an OCAA awards dinner Conestoga player Brieanne Gallant was named OCAA overall Rookie of the Year. Gallant, a defensive specialist in volleyball, led the OCAA with 342 digs. Gallant also took home West Division Rookie of the Year honours and was named a West Division first-team all-star on the first-ever all-rookie team.
Left-side hitter Mallory O'Hara of Conestoga was named to the West Division second all-star team. O’Hara was ranked second in the OCAA with 54 service aces and also lead the Conestoga team with 114 kills.
Condor’s second-year middle Stephanie Hoey was recently named the OCAA Player of the Week.
