Preparatory Programs Participate in Employer Recogition Event

The Employment Facilitation Network of Cambridge and North Dumfries (EFN) held their annual Employer Recognition Breakfast on Wednesday October 26th at the Galt Country Club.

EFN is a local network of employment and training agencies working together to assist in reducing the barriers to employment and training services for residents of Cambridge and North Dumfries by increasing awareness of employment and training services and to form links and facilitate effective communication between the Network and other employment groups, agencies, advisory groups and employers.

The Employer Recognition event is designed to recognize and acknowledge employers in Cambridge and North Dumfries who have gone above and beyond in helping people by providing work experiences, training and employment opportunities. EFN recognized 12 local employers on October 26th at the Galt Country Club. The Waterloo Wellington Training and Adjustment Board and the Region of Waterloo sponsored this event and Cambridge employment facilitation agencies hosted. Conestoga College's Focus for Change and Discover Your Future programs recognized Langs Farm Association and Argus House for their contributions in assisting Cambridge students research and confirm career decisions. It is through their support that others can reach for their potential.
