Conestoga College is Open

Day and evening classes will begin as scheduled on Tuesday, September 6, 2011

A province-wide strike by Ontario college support staff is in effect as of 12:01 am, September 1.

All Conestoga campuses will remain open during this labour disruption. All day and evening classes will begin as scheduled on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Students are expected to attend classes as usual. All faculty, administrators and non full-time staff are expected to report for work.

You will be required to cross a picket line when you come on campus. When entering the campus, you are encouraged to use courtesy and caution when crossing a picket line. For further information, please review the picket line protocol.

Conestoga will do everything possible to ensure classroom activities are not interrupted and minimize disruptions to student services, given the constraints of the situation.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. Please continue to check this website for further updates.

Please refer to status of college services during the strike for more information on the availability and status of specific college services during the current labour disruption. This site is updated regularly as more information becomes available.
