Child Care Centres to re-open on Tuesday, September 20
The College Employer Council representing Ontario's 24 colleges has announced that a tentative agreement has been reached with Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) representing college support staff to end the province-wide strike. Employees will return to work on Tuesday, September 20.
A ratification vote conducted by the Ministry of Labour will be held in the near future, when terms of the agreement will be released.
All child care centres will re-open at 7:30 am on Tuesday, September 20. For further details, please contact the specific centre that your child attends.
