Kandy Kabobs for Charity

Members from the IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals) Student Chapter used Valentine's Day to raise money for a local charity.

This is the second year the chapter has sold kandy kabobs for Valentine's Day but this year they decided the profits would be directed to aid Haiti Earthquake Relief. During their spare time over the last week, Cindy Bradley and Deana Moreau sat in the cafeteria putting the kabobs together. Sales were brisk when students and faculty saw the attractive and yummy kabobs! Response was amazing and the chapter very proudly presented a cheque for $500.00 to Anne Brubacher, Coordinator of Communications of the Mennonite Central Committee, on Thursday, February 11, 2010. They chose MCC because it is a local organization with strong roots in this community. As the faculty adviser, it is very gratifying to work with students who want to "make a difference."

The two-year Office Administration - Legal Assistant Program and Office Administration - Executive provide students with a specialization in administrative procedures and processes in preparation for employment.
