Conestoga's own CJIQ continues to grow

Audience figures released in December show that the listenership for Conestoga College’s radio station CJIQ continues to experience phenomenal growth.

Ratings released by BBM - the Bureau of Broadcast Measurement (an independent research organization) show that CJIQ’s total audience grew by over 53 percent. According to BBM, each week 23, 600 listeners tune in to listen to the station.

While the listenership for the station is up across the board, it is especially significant that the station gained listenership in the increasingly competitive Region of Waterloo radio market where average listening hours increased by 35%.
